Testimonials

Book Editor, Contributor, and Collaborator
A Picture Is Worth 1000 Words

Working with Rose for this project was a blast! I enjoyed her over enthusiasm for writing which brought the full scope of this collaborative book to life. I appreciated her attention to detail as an editor, her creativity as a contributor of the book (4 stories), and her ability to work with other writers to support the scale of this project (27 authors from around the globe).

Rose was very organized and methodical which helped break down this project. She was receptive to commentary from editors and was extremely dedicated to the project from concept to print. She even supported and collaborated on a series of book launches and readings in Vietnam after publication.

I would highly recommend her services any time.

-Thomas Brath (Professional Photographer, Publisher of A Picture Is Worth 1000 Words)

Ghost Writer
The Doe

Wow! I never knew that the words from my mouth would translate to the heartwarming story that Rose developed on paper. She helped take my sporadic anecdotes and wove them together to make a cohesive and engaging story. I read her words over and over, thinking, wow that’s my story?

Rose was very receptive to notes and changes with each draft. She was respectful to the sensitivity of my story and paid careful attention to small details to make sure my story was accurate to the real events of my life. She asked thorough questions and always checked to ensure she was on brand with my voice.

I love working with Rose because she is professional, and yet such a sweetheart. Yes, yes, yes, I would recommend her to ghost write your story.

-Lisa Farley, (Founder and Entrepreneur, Lisa Farley Weddings)

Host & Organizer
RMIT University

2 hrs: developed and delivered a Halloween Spooky Writing Workshop for around 30 students aged between 12-17, with pre-intermediate to advanced English language proficiency levels.

The workshop was useful as it sparked a curiosity in the learners about how reading can inspire creative writing. Rose absolutely delivered a professional service. She ensured she had an understanding of the context in order to develop a stimulating session. She was well-prepared and professional in her delivery of the workshop and engagement with our staff and students. She also reflected on how she would adapt the content for future sessions with a similar/same group.

Rose is very receptive to ideas and can collaborate very effectively. Rose exudes genuine warmth and enthusiasm when teaching writing. Her enthusiasm is contagious and this is such a valuable skill when teaching children and adults.

-Karen Benson (Director of English language programs RMIT Da Nang).

IWN Writing Workshop

Host: open writing workshops that led individuals through a creative writing process.

Working with Rose and Ideas Write Now through creative writing workshops has completely renewed my personal commitment to writing. I had been out of practice for so long and have found through working with her that my writing has been infused with new creativity and great improvement over a short period of time. Rose is a helpful workshop host. She manages to hold participants accountable for their best work in both an encouraging and non-judgmental way.

The editing and personal feedback I have received working with Rose on my novel has been invaluable. Having her support there every step of the way has boosted my confidence and greatly strengthened the quality of my work. Rose is an asset to my writing career and the writing community as a whole.

International Writers Critique Circle

Joining the International Writers’ critique circle has been a great experience. Submitting work I love to other writers with the express purpose of them finding faults can be a scary experience, but Rose is a wonderful moderator and always ensures the discussion is positive and helpful. In all the hundreds of hours of discussions I have been involved with I’ve never once seen the critique drift away from being anything other than helpful and kind-hearted, even when the conversation gets difficult. Rose’s knowledge of grammar and the rules of writing are meticulous and she will always be there with an answer whenever I’m lost about a lexicological point.

Every growing writer should have their own version of the International Writers’ critique circle, I wouldn’t be half the writer I am today without it.
